Job Summary (Basic Functions): LG Chem America is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Customs Planning Assistant with 3-5 years of experience.
The successful candidate will support logistics planning, cost management, data analysis, SAP system activities, and customs compliance programs including CTPAT and CBP-related initiatives.
This position provides excellent opportunities to contribute to supply chain excellence and continuous business improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):
Logistics Planning & Operational Support
- Support logistics cost management and performance analysis.
- Maintain transportation and warehouse master data.
- Prepare logistics KPI reports and operational performance reviews.
Data Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyze logistics data using SAP and related systems.
- Develop and maintain regular reports using Excel.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
Project & Stakeholder Support
- Assist with logistics projects and network optimization activities.
- Coordinate data and performance management with logistics service providers.
- Prepare management presentations and business review materials
Customs Compliance & Trade Compliance
- Support Customs Compliance programs, including CTPAT certification requirements
- CBP compliance activities, customs audits, and import/export regulatory compliance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, IT or a related field.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in Logistics, SCM, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
