LG Chem's Americas Business Innovation Team is dedicated to analyzing and optimizing business processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. This role will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to identify areas diagnosing process issues, designing optimized workflows, and supporting implementation to ensure measurable improvements. This is a full-time, 12-month Internship and ideal candidates must have recently graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently college graduate to gain real world experience.
Essential Functions (Principal assignments include but are not limited to):
- Analyze and model end-to-end business processes.
- Diagnose current workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Design optimized processes and propose actionable improvement roadmaps.
- Support implementation of process improvements, including digital or system-based solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements and ensure continuous refinement.
- Support process governance and change management for successful adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute business innovation initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
Education: Bachelor Degree required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred majors: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) required
- Proven experience in business process analysis, design, and improvement.
- Understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, MES, SCM) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (preferred due to collaboration with the Americas region).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Less than 1-year of full-time experience or prior internships.
- Experience in project management (PM/PMO, etc.).
- Experience in IT system development or operations.
- Experience working with global or multicultural organizations
