Job Summary (Basic Functions): We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Market Development Specialist to join the Market Development Team in our corporate office in Atlanta, GA, to drive business growth across the Americas region. Reporting to the Market Development Team Leader, this role is responsible for leading field marketing initiatives, identifying new market opportunities, and developing strategic growth pipelines. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and headquarters in Korea, to deliver market insights, expand customer base, and execute high-impact marketing and business development activities. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role well-suited for an early-career marketing professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build experience in business development and market intelligence within a corporate setting. What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):
Field Marketing & Customer Development
- Execute field marketing initiatives to generate demand and develop early-stage customers
- Plan and lead “Customer Day” programs to expand opportunities across adjacent and non-adjacent applications
- Drive long-tail marketing activities to support early entry into new markets and identify potential customers
- Develop high-value and strategic growth pipelines through targeted task force initiatives
Market Intelligence & Business Opportunity Development
- Conduct market intelligence (MI) activities across the Americas region
- Collect, analyze, and report market insights to headquarters in Korea, on a regular basis
- Identify field marketing targets based on research into high-value and emerging markets
- Discover mid-to long-term growth opportunities, including new products and applications
- Evaluate and propose inorganic growth opportunities (e.g., partnerships, M&A, strategic collaborations)
Corporate/Customer Events & Engagement Management
- Plan, organize, and manage internal and external corporate events
- Lead exhibitions and customer engagement activities to strengthen brand presence and customer relationships
- Coordinate and manage leadership-level events, including TMM (Top Management Meetings)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in market development, business development, or related roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (Bilingual: English, Korean)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in use of basic office software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
