LG Chem has open Sales Intern positions that will be located in our corporate office in Atlanta, GA, and will support the North American Sales Team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn real world experience from projects or tasks related to Sales. These may include market research focused on customer and market trends, data analysis, product competitive analysis and potential lead generation.

The goal of this program is to prepare future candidates for LG Chem.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Essential Functions (Principal assignments include but are not limited to):

  • Goal setting to align projects with business needs.
  • Research assigned market segments to determine pricing and product trends.
  • Analyze market information to determine potential customers or new market segments.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to obtain data and information used to establish key performance indicators (KPI’s) and support market expansion.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to create presentations for internal reporting and customer meetings.
  • Manage large sets of data and provide reports used for decision making.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For

 

Education:  Students must be currently enrolled in their Junior or Senior year pursuing degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Sales, Marketing or business-related curriculum.

 

Requirements:

  • Interest in pursuing a Sales career.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-start with desire to learn and work autonomously.
  • Must possess good reading, writing and math skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability to effectively analyze large amounts of data and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.

 

Preferred Qualification/What We’d Like to See:

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation.
  • Ability to collaborate across business functions and work as part of a team.
