Primary Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end technical proposal development process for BESS projects.
- Review RFPs (Request for Proposals) and tender documents to identify technical and commercial requirements.
- Lead internal proposal strategy meetings to define win themes, technical approaches, and execution plans.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to develop system designs, configurations, and technical narratives.
- Draft, edit, and finalize technical sections of proposals, including system descriptions, performance models, and compliance matrices.
- Ensure proposals meet client specifications, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Develop and maintain technical content libraries, templates, and best practices.
- Provide technical clarification and support during customer negotiations and bid evaluations.
- Track proposal metrics and continuously improve processes for efficiency and success rate.
- Stay up to date on emerging BESS technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Professional and Personal Competences
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Energy Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical proposal management, project engineering, or solution engineering, preferably in the energy sector (BESS).
- Strong understanding of BESS system components: batteries, PCS, EMS, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and integration with renewable energy sources.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with engineering design tools.
- Highly preferred the experience in BESS System Integration field.
