LG Chem Advanced Materials, Inc. (LGCTA) is actively seeking an HR Contract Recruiter to support our HR team within a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to meet aggressive staffing targets.

The Contract Recruiter will leverage established sourcing strategies, community relationships, and applicant tracking systems to quickly identify, attract, and hire top talent. This position is an individual contributor and requires the ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment.

 

This position is based full-time in Clarksville, TN and is not a remote role. This is a contract assignment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions (include but are not limited to):

FullCycle Recruiting:

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high‑volume manufacturing roles, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and pre‑employment processing.

• Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines.

• Maintain a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

 

HighVolume & Manufacturing Hiring:

Support hourly and salaried manufacturing recruitment, including operators, technicians, skilled trades, and production support roles.

• Meet aggressive hiring goals while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach efforts to build candidate pipelines.

 

Sourcing & Talent Attraction:

Utilize multiple sourcing strategies, including ATS databases, job boards, employee referrals, social media, and local workforce partnerships.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

• Leverage established community and industry connections to drive recruiting success.

 

Systems & Compliance:

Manage candidate activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with company policy and employment regulations.

• Create and manage requisitions, candidate workflows, interview notes, and offer documentation in systems such as SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar platforms.

• Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP (if applicable), and internal hiring guidelines.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Provide regular recruiting updates, metrics, and hiring status reports to HR leadership.

• Collaborate closely with onboarding, HR operations, and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions from offer to start date.

• Support special recruiting projects and initiatives as needed.

 

 

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: What We’re Looking For

 

Competencies/Desired Skills:

High‑Volume Recruiting Expertise: Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Sourcing & Market Knowledge: Strong sourcing techniques with the ability to tap into local labor markets and community networks.
Systems & Process Management: Ability to quickly learn and leverage ATS and HR systems to drive efficiency and compliance.
Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and partner effectively with hiring managers.
Collaboration & Accountability: Works independently while collaborating cross‑functionally; demonstrates urgency, adaptability, and ownership of results.

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

 

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing and high‑volume hiring.
• Hands‑on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as SuccessFactors, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to source, screen, and hire talent quickly in a production or plant environment.
• Experience supporting on‑site recruitment operations.

 

Preferred Qualification/What We’d Like to See:

• Established relationships within local manufacturing labor markets, trade schools, or workforce development organizations.
• Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and add immediate value in a contract role.
• Prior experience working in a matrixed or global organization.
