Key roles and responsibilities
- Manage a new product development project, related to a residential/ commercial controllers and its applications
- Air Conditioning Control Systems, Home Energy Package, Energy Platform, IoT, Connectivity
- Smart Home, Building Automation Control Systems, Building Management Control Systems
- New product development
- Verify new product development request with EU product planning team
- Test the interoperability and confirming the integration with 3rd party devices and services
- Evaluate a new product and its sequence of operation under development in a field test site
- Troubleshoot a new product in the issued jobsites in EU region
- Competitors’ analysis
- Analyzing and comparing the new product and its sequence of operation with competitors
- Technical Transfer to the sales/ field / service technician
- Identify the root cause and find resolution
- Create the technical documents, related to the new products or line up for sales.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
- Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field
- Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in control systems design, programming, and commissioning, preferably in the HVAC or heat pump industry.
- Proficiency in programming PLC, microcontroller-based systems, and embedded control platforms used in HVAC systems.
- Experience in configuring and programming BMS controllers such as BACnet, Modbus, or KNX.
- Knowledge of PID control, sequence control, and logic implementation for thermal systems.
- Understanding of signal flow, I/O mapping, and hardware safety standards.
- Proven ability to integrate third-party devices and sensors into existing HVAC/BMS control architectures.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Fluent in English and German (knowledge of Korean is valued)
