Key roles & responsibilities
Design Research: conduct consumer and lifestyle trend research to discover Europe-centric design insights
- Monitor emerging trends, techs & news, ideate how to implement such into LG design working process
- Create design intel/analysis reports (topic-, event-, project-specific design reports based on research and/or offline visits)
Design Development: create trends and lifestyle-based design direction + design output
- Participate in design strategic planning followed by tangible creative conception works.
- Creative visualization (modelling, renderings, videos, supplemental visual materials)
- Feasible and tangible proof-sets (CMF samples, prototyping mock-ups etc.)
Design Business Networking: plan, facilitate and support design/designer networking events
- Plan, collaborate and manage open innovation projects with in/external partners (project dependent)
- Collaborate/support regional sales and marketing events involving design contribution
Design Management: organize and manage Europe Design Lab operation
- Organizational administration task assistance
- Create periodic progress reports and meeting logs
Required qualifications, skills and experience
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience of HVAC systems and refrigerant cycle analysis
- Experience working in a multicultural or international corporate environment
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel for business (up to 2 consecutive weeks if required)
- Native-level Korean, high-level English and mid-high-level German communication skills
