What You'll Do

1. Go-To-Market Strategy & New Business Development: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual and long-term Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to penetrate the German built-in market and achieve targeted market share.  

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) for initial market entry, while concurrently formulating long-term acquisition plans for major key accounts.  

  • Continuously expand the client base to meet specific acquisition targets within the Kitchen Expert (KE) channel and premium kitchen manufacturer segments. 

2. Sales Leadership & Profit Management: 

  • Establish a localized Product Portfolio Management (PRM) strategy, leveraging an optimal sales channel mix to maximize profitability 

  • Rigorously manage profit margins through strategic pricing and product mix optimization, ensuring the attainment of quarterly and annual sales objectives to drive business expansion.  

  • Lead executive-level negotiations for annual contracts with major distributors, fostering mutually beneficial relationships and securing favorable commercial terms.Establish a localized Product Portfolio Management (PRM) strategy, leveraging an optimal sales channel mix to maximize profitability. 

3. Omnichannel Marketing & Digital Transformation: 

  • Orchestrate major industry events and trade exhibitions to expand customer reach and achieve brand visibility objectives within the premium built-in sector.  

  • Drive digital transformation by implementing O2O (Online-to-Offline) strategies, leveraging CRM tools and targeted digital marketing to enhance premium brand positioning and customer engagement. 

4. Data-Driven Forecasting & Supply Chain Collaboration: 

  • Utilize advanced analytics and AI-based demand forecasting tools to direct the monthly sales forecasting process at the SKU level, ensuring precise demand planning and mitigating inventory discrepancies. 

  • Collaborate closely with Demand Planning (DP) and Logistics teams to oversee the end-to-end supply chain, guaranteeing seamless delivery and optimal inventory management for key accounts. 

5. Global Product Roadmap Alignment & Cross-functional Leadership (Localization) 

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and analyze market intelligence to formulate actionable strategies that defend and expand our market position. 

  • Act as the critical bridge between the German market and Global HQ. Collaborate closely with R&D and Design teams to reflect local consumer needs, ensuring the successful localization of global new products and optimizing the product portfolio. 

6. Organizational Leadership & Executive Reporting 

  • Lead the German Built-in business organization with direct reporting to the CEO Germany, taking full ownership for business performance, market development, and strategic execution.  

  • Maintain close alignment with Regional and Global Headquarters, ensuring transparent reporting, effective governance, and successful implementation of global Built-in strategies within the German market. 

What You Must Have 

  • Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in the built-in appliance distribution sector or major home appliance industry within Germany.  

  • Proven track record of successfully launching new business units, exceeding revenue targets, and leading strategic initiatives at a senior management level.  

  • Extensive network and established relationships with key decision-makers across built-in retailers, distributors, and kitchen manufacturers. 

  • Exceptional analytical acumen with a profound understanding of built-in market dynamics, customer segmentation, and purchasing behaviors.  

  • Outstanding negotiation, communication, and strategic planning capabilities.  

  • Proficiency in leveraging advanced data analytics and CRM platforms for data-driven decision-making. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. 

  • Business fluency in both German and English to ensure seamless communication with local partners and Global Headquarters. 

  • A global mindset with the proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse, international corporate environment. 

  • A strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial drive to lead sales initiatives and deliver results autonomously. 

Nice If You Have 

  • Experience in driving digital transformation (O2O) and executing sustainability/ESG-focused sales initiatives is highly preferred.
