Basic Function:
The Drum Inspector is responsible for over all quality of his/ her work. In addition, he/she is responsible for any other task the Plant Manager or Group Leader deems necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for 100% sorting of reconditioned drums.
- Ensure all drums are sorted and wrapped then placed in the designated area.
- Responsible for cleanliness of drum storage area.
- Ensure the Reconditioned Drum Inspection Sheet is completed daily and submit to the Plant Manager.
- Responsible for filling out the paperwork for the return drums to vendor and putting the rejected drums on the empty trailer.
- Responsible for notifying the Quality Director if 10% or more of the drums are rejected.
- Inform the Plant Manager or Group Leader of any safety or maintenance issues.
- Assist with live unloads of drums

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous manufacturing/production experience is preferred.
