Summary:
As a Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the compensation practices, programs, and standards of operations. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company's goals, culture, and competitive practices. You will also be responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.


Responsibilities:
•    Designing, implementing, and evaluating compensation programs
•    Researching current market practices and evaluating current and future options
•    Collecting and analyzing data from market-based compensation surveys
•    Developing a consistent compensation structure in line with work culture and organizational objectives
•    Administer compensation programs, including base pay and short-term incentives, to ensure alignment with company objectives for recruiting, retention, and employee engagement
•    Administer compensation programs for the company, including merit, bonus, equity, offers, and promotions. Includes activities such as planning, budgeting, systems set up, communications, analysis, presentation of proposed annual programs to Executive Leadership
•    Conduct research and analysis to ensure the company is offering fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation packages which are aligned with our company’s strategy and business goals
•    Handle compensation surveys, EEO reports, and other compensation requests, as necessary
•    Provide Managers guidance and counsel on salary proposals, salary structure, job evaluations, promotion requests and other comp related programs to support organizational priorities
•    Develop and manage HR Analytic dashboards and reports for Management and Senior Leaders that provide predictive insights and key performance indicators related to cost of labor and compensation. Skillfully identify trends, areas of concern, and recommend actionable solutions
•    Maintain data integrity, validate accuracy of information, and support audit requirements
•    Serve as key liaison with various stakeholders to include service providers, third-party administrators, and internal departments such as payroll, financial reporting, and Human Resources
•    Ensure base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to compensation strategy
•    Administer the job offer process by partnering with the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring manager 
•    Collaborating with business partners, compensation consultants, and advisors to analyze the impact of compensation options.

 

Education/Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•    0 to 3 + years of hands-on HR work experience (including employee compensation and system administration)
•    HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or the SHRM equivalent) and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred

 

Knowledge/Skills: 
•    Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office software and advanced Excel skills
•    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Ability to remain confidential and handle sensitive data
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills with high level of customer service and follow through
•    Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations
•    Flexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessary
