Summary: As a production Control Specialist 2, you will provide bird's eye view on company's performance as well as communication specialist who suggests strategically analysis and solutions to management for optimal company's profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate production activities across internal production teams and outsourcing contractors to optimize operational performance and achieve production objectives.
- Analyze, evaluate, and drive improvements to key operational KPIs including On-Time Delivery, Production Target Hit Ratio, Yield, Capacity Utilization, and Inventory Accuracy.
- Develop, coordinate, and optimize production schedules and monitor day-to-day production performance across in-house operations and outsourcing contractors.
- Perform capacity planning and proactively identify capacity constraints, supporting capacity utilization optimization for in-house manufacturing operations and outsourcing contractors.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with production, outsourcing contractors, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve operational constraints and support production objectives.
- Coordinate, validate, and improve operational data synchronization across manufacturing and enterprise systems (MES, ERP, WMS, SCM, MRP, etc.) to support accurate and timely decision-making.
- Manage and monitor raw material, WIP, and finished product inventories across in-house and outsourcing operations, identifying risks and driving resolution of inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate and optimize shipment and logistics schedules to support on-time delivery and minimize operational disruptions.
- Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions related to production, quality, and operational issues; monitor effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Evaluate production feasibility and develop/maintain Line of Balance (LOB) plans to identify production risks, capacity constraints, and readiness requirements.
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate production status reports and operational performance updates, highlighting trends, risks, issues, and recommended actions.
- Identify opportunities for process and operational improvements and support implementation of initiatives to improve production performance, capacity, quality, delivery, and inventory accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial engineering or relevant experience
- 3 - 5+ years of Production control of supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong interest and basic understanding of manufacturing process
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills required, including ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Manufacturing Legacy System
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in battery or automotive manufacturing industries
- Experience in outsourced production and supplier management
