Summary: As a Production Planning Specialist 2, you will have a bird's eye view on the company's strategic goals and performance and work to with each business team to communicate key points and initiatives, working toward optimization of the company's profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall direction of all the production teams to optimize
- Manages company's major KPI metrics (Project Schedule, Capex, Revenue, Profit, Productivity, Yield, OEE, HR KPI, SH&E KPI, etc.)
- Set the production goals and monitor production performance day to day basis
- Synchronize information flow between multiple IT systems (GMES, GDW, GSCM, DP, DW, FP, MRP, WMS, IMS, Procurement Singlex,etc.)
- Play as a key role in communication between LGES HQ, Honda Japan HQ and LH Battery Management
- Organize CEO's schedule and managing LH battery's routine meeting (C-suite Mtg, Weekly/Montly PDCS meeting, etc)
- Support JV Steering Committee and Board of Directors meeting
- Estimate and expect yearly, montly and daily productivity plan to set company targets
- Collaborate and guide inventory managing teams for monthly closings and inventory counts consistency
- Resolve KPI variances between targets and results to optimize company's performance
- Resource management and planning (Headcount, Investment Budget, Equipment, Engineer allocation)
- Evaluate production feasability and update Line of Balance(LOB) on a monthly basis
- Prepare in-depth reports to senior management for optimal decision making
- Measuring LH Battery's organization capabilities and executing improvement planning
- Prevent potential risk of business and executing risk managemnt activities when risk occured
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business or relevant experience
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in automotive industry or relevant experience
- Supply chain or manufacturing operation experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong computer skills required, including ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Manufacturing Legacy System
- Strong interest in automotive industry and basic understanding of manufacturing process
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
- Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needs
- Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
- Ability to multitask and solve complex problems.
- Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
