As General Procurement Manager you will lead bidding and negotiation activities for the following areas: marketing, retail, e-commerce, general affairs, HR, professional services (indirect procurement).
What you’ll do
- Receive Purchase Requests from stakeholders and define procurement strategy (selection method, share allocation, evaluation terms)
- Search, approve, evaluate suppliers for Biddings (RFI, financial records check)
- Define RFP/RFQ to standardize evaluation process
- Lead the bidding throughout all steps (briefing calls, follow-up clarifications, Q&A collection, support to supplier user creation and quotation upload)
- Negotiate prices and service conditions with terms that are in the organization’s best interest
- Perform quality/cost evaluation
- Review contracts with stakeholders and Legal, Tax, Accounting departments
- On need, support stakeholders in verifying contract terms after contract signature (e.g. invoices, terminations, contract amendments)
- Quality of provided service/activities monitoring and reporting
- Verify compliance with company procurement rules and regulations
- Supervise the day-to-day activities and services that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing and reliability
- Optimize GP process (e.g. RFP/RFQ template definition for each category, contract templates definition, flow optimizations, etc.)
- Continuous and proactive scouting of suppliers in order to identify new potential partners/market solutions and define market benchmark
- Weekly reporting of activities to top management
- Monthly reporting of activities and KPI achievements to HQ GP contact point
What You Must Have
- 4+ years experience with procurement processes: sourcing, negotiation, vendor/contract management
- Master degree preferable in Economics, Management, Management Engineering
- Fluent in English
- Analytical & Financial Skills
- Ability to analyze spend data, forecast costs, and manage budgets.
- Knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Ability to assess supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Experience with stakeholder management including internal leadership/senior managers and suppliers
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Nice If You Have
- Experience in Consumer Electronics business is a plus
- Experience with eProcurement source-to-pay tools
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement platforms.
- Proficiency in procurement-related KPIs and reporting tools.
- Expertise in compliance & risk management
