LG Electronics Hellas Single Member S.A. is seeking an Air Conditioning Sales Engineer to support the expansion of our HVAC solutions portfolio in Greece.

The role involves a high level of involvement in both engineering support and sales activities, focusing on HVAC products within a complex partner network of distributors and installers. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, supporting partners, and delivering technical and commercial solutions.

 

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets through effective management of sales activities and execution discipline.
  • Develop and expand LG’s network of air conditioning installers and distributors through structured engagement plans.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with installers, distributors, and key stakeholders (both commercial and technical).
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities through account planning, prospecting, and market engagement.
  • Manage the full sales cycle with partners from project identification and qualification to solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Generate high-quality leads and ensure effective follow-up using sales and engineering tools to drive profitable growth.
  • Manage pipeline activities and coordinate closely with the sales team throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Ensure pipeline governance and transparency through accurate CRM updates, reliable forecasting, and disciplined sales execution
  • Promote LG solutions and support specification activities through technical documentation and early project engagement to increase win rates.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders (clients, installers, service teams), addressing inquiries and resolving technical issues.
  • Advise on infrastructure prerequisites to ensure smooth and successful project implementation.
  • Support partners through consultative engagement, including solution workshops, product demonstrations, training sessions, and tailored presentations.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements in line with company guidelines to secure profitable and sustainable outcomes
  • Monitor competition and market trends through active participation in associations, events, and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Product Management, Pre-sales, Technical, Marketing) to remove obstacles, accelerate deal cycles, and improve win rates.

 

 

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Air Conditioning (or related field).
  • Strong market knowledge and understanding of the air conditioning ecosystem.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical support and sales of Chillers, VRF, AWHP, or related HVAC solutions.
  • Solid technical expertise in air conditioning technologies and related engineering principles.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with a flexible approach, including availability to travel as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex tasks, cross-functional teams, and tight deadlines.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, including technical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to balance on-site visits and office work based on business needs.
