The Product Marketing Specialist supports the successful positioning, communication, and commercial readiness of the company’s product portfolio across both B2C and B2B markets. The mission of this role is to strengthen product awareness, enhance customer engagement, and contribute to market growth through precise messaging, high‑quality content, and strong cross‑functional coordination. Working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and HQ teams, the role ensures that every product is accurately represented, strategically promoted, and effectively supported throughout its lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Market Intelligence Support
- Gather, analyze, and interpret market data using tools such as GfK.
- Monitor competitor activity and product performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support product and marketing teams with insights to guide strategic decisions.
- USP Definition & Messaging
- Define and document product Unique Selling Points (USPs).
- Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all communication channels and product‑related materials.
- Content Creation
- Create and update product content for corporate websites (LG.com / lgbusiness.it), retailer websites, PR materials, and social media.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative, marketing, and digital teams.
- Sales Materials & Product Training Support
- Develop sales tools such as presentations, brochures, catalogues, and product guides.
- Organize and support product training sessions for internal teams, customers, and business partners.
- Conduct Product Training & Sales Talk Enablement
- Deliver engaging and informative product training to internal staff, new hires, and channel partners.
- Equip sales teams with effective, value‑based sales talk strategies tailored to customer segments.
- Support objection handling, differentiation vs. competitors, and upselling techniques.
- Coordination with PR & Social Media Teams
- Provide product information, key messages, and technical content to support campaigns and product launches.
- CRM Support
- Assist in the coordination and execution of CRM activities for both B2C and B2B audiences.
- Help manage product segmentation, customer engagement flows, and database updates.
- Liaison with HQ Product Teams
- Communicate with HQ regarding new product line‑ups, launch schedules, and marketing assets.
- Maintain accurate and updated product data, ensuring alignment with HQ specifications and timelines.
What You Must Have
- 2/3 years experience in product marketing or a related role, ideally within IT, consumer electronics, or technology‑driven industries.
- Strong market analysis skills and familiarity with tools such as GfK or similar market‑tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical features into clear customer‑focused messaging.
- Experience in content creation across digital platforms, PR, and sales channels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and standard office applications.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
