We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Accounting Specialist for the financial support of our small but dynamic daughter company of LG; Homey.
This is a standalone role, ideal for someone who thrives in an independent working environment and is comfortable managing end-to-end finance. Within our Shared Service Center subsidiary you will be working within our admin team.
What you'll do
- Manage full-cycle accounting including invoice bookings, AR management, account settlements, and month/year-end closing.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with Dutch accounting standards.
- Coordinate and respond to internal and external audits.
- Manage all tax matters including VAT, CIT, and other applicable taxes.
- Prepare and submit tax filings and payments.
- Liaise with tax authorities and handle tax inspections.
- Prepare periodic financial reports for local management and LGE HQ.
- Facilitate financial communication between the local office, European HQ, and Korean HQ.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis as required.
What you must have
- 5–10 years of relevant financial and accounting experience in the Netherlands.
- Proven ability to manage multiple financial tasks independently, preferably in a small or medium-sized company environment.
- Solid knowledge of Dutch GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Korean to enable effective communication with HQ in Korea.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).

- Experience working in smaller companies managing a wide range of financial responsibilities independently.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work between LG’s Amstelveen office and the Homey office in Enschede, with one-day WFH policy.
